Pauses are very important.
In life, without the pause we would all be a busy train wreck. You just have to stop. Drop and wait on peace to fill your heart. You don’t have to DO anything. You don’t have to search for answers, search the scriptures, fight for freedom, or grit your teeth through the pain. You just have to stop and be. Rest. Pause. Pause your brain – your analytical thinking. Pause your desire to know the answers to everything much less anything. You have to pause – be still. Breath in. Breath out.
It’s in the pauses that I am able to see, know, tangibly feel, experience, the peace of Christ in my heart. (Col.3:15)
That peace fills every crevice of my soul. My mind is overcome in His presence. The peace overrides every logically move I can calculate. The peace drives me to a smile in the middle of deep pain. It releases pain in your body and agonizing thoughts disappear.
That peace is where imaginations are redirected from carnal to Spirit.
In the pause is where we are able to listen intently when the noise around us is so loud.
Pause today. Be. Just be. It’s where our strength is renewed.
Isaiah 41:1
“Be silent before me, you islands! Let the nations renew their strength!
