It’s overwhelming when you see God use you in a way that makes absolutely no sense. You didn’t plan a message. You didn’t try to serve. You didn’t try to minister. You actually did nothing to be used, but you are a vessel. You are willing and available.
God is simply looking for people who are usable—people who will allow Him to make them usable. He is looking for people to love the person in front of them. He just wants us to love and not to miss that person who walks by us and needs us so desperately. His Holy Spirit is pressing in and convicting.
I don’t want to miss it. I want to be available. I want to be one of those who don’t miss their cues. I want to be used by Him as if I’m just a puppet who doesn’t even know I am being used.
Father, make us usable. Make me usable. Give us ears to hear and eyes to see and hearts to love the person in front of us. Such a concept is so simple, yet so challenging in such a busy world.
