They study the questions of who God is and what were you originally designed for. It’s awesome!
Do you believe that as a Christ follower, you are a new creation?
When I first got saved, nothing changed in my life. I got saved because I learned about Hell and I was scared! I didn’t want to spend eternity there. So I called on Jesus and He became my Savior. But that was all He was to me. I still thought I was a bad person, and I thought I would always be sinful. I thought the only time I would ever be forgiven was when I died.
Then I learned that being a Christian wasn’t just about knowing Jesus as your Savior—it was about having a real and intimate relationship with Him. This forever changed my life. Thanks to my awesome family!- 🙂 I loved that I was forgiven the moment I gave my life to Jesus. I realized I was a new creation. No longer was I a slave to sin, but I was cleansed by the blood of Jesus. “For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.”(Romans 6:14)
Jesus put His cloak around me and showed me that His cloak was not only stainless, but it was also stain-proof!! He showed me that He never sees me for the mistakes that I have made! Instead He sees me as holy and blameless in His sight. “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” (Ephesians 1:4)
This caused me to realize that I no longer had to live condemned. I no longer had to live under the law. I realized that I was a sinner saved by GRACE. All this revelation changed my life! “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
I realized I was no longer who I once was. Instead I was a new creation! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
I pray that all of you may be blessed by this truth! I pray that it will set you free. I pray that you will pray without ceasing and ask God to reveal this revelation to you. I pray that you will share this Good News with everyone around you. I pray this revelation will overflow in your heart and that it will spill out to everyone around you!
Have a wonderful day!
Love, Kathleen 🙂
